More Pacific Freeview Top Gear glitching

On: Tuesday, 15 December 2009

As promised, here's some more automotive glitchness courtesy of the BBC's foremost Sunday evening car/entertainment programme. Don't you think they're a million times better?

As usual, these images were captured using a Pacific Freeview set top box, on this occasion tuned into Dave, 'The Home of Witty Banter', with a bit of help from a rubbish telly aerial.

YouTube glitching redux

Previously seen on General Illarteracy, reformatted slightly for reproduction here.

Taken from YouTube glitchups on various videos. Don't you think these would make for excellent videos on their own?

Analogue glitching: North West Tonight

On: Friday, 13 November 2009

Hey, analogue can get in on the act, too! To be truthful, this is actually an analogue signal being fed through my computer (digital), so I suppose you could call it anadig, or digilogue. Yeah, I quite like that term, so I might well use it more often.

These images are from an edition of North West Tonight, ITV Granada region, 20th February 2009. See, I even noted the exact date so you can go back in time and perhaps even move house just so you could check it out for yourself. Have fun and stay hungry.

Pacific Freeview glitching: Mutant Jeremy Clarkson

On: Saturday, 7 November 2009

This image was captured from a Pacific Freeview set top box by manipulation of the signal input. Or was it? Aha! I always knew Clarkie was secretly a mutant.

Analogue television snow

On: Friday, 6 November 2009

Available in all colours of the rainbow! Or at least blue, grey and green. Taken from my computer's television capture card. Incidentally, the third one is what BBC2 looks like nowadays.

Pacific Freeview glitching: Richard Hammond on Top Gear

These images were captured from a Pacific Freeview set top box by manipulation of the signal input. Rather amusing, don't you think? More caps from this episode of Top Gear to come.

Pacific Freeview glitching: Skills Centre advertisement

On: Sunday, 12 April 2009

These images were captured from a Pacific Freeview set top box by manipulation of the signal input. Made all the more amusing by a particularly cheesy and annoying advertisement, I must say.
